STRENGTHS: While shorter than ideal, Lawson sports a compact, athletic frame with very good agility, fluid hips and the speed to turn and run with receivers. Very physical defender, especially as an open-field tackler, where he quickly closes on the ball-carrier and strikes them at the hips, encircling his arms and wrenching them to the ground emphatically.
Often asked to line up inside, showing the spatial awareness to handle playing the nickel and not relying on the sideline to protect himself. Highly confident defender, who varies his approach in man coverage, alternately punching the receiver to get a quality jam to impede their release or turning to run with them, demonstrating quick feet and a seamless turning motion. Good awareness in zone coverage.
Keeps his eyes peeled on the quarterback when in zone and breaks on the ball quickly. Times his arrival with the ball, showing the hand-eye coordination to break up passes, as well as developing ball-skills to pull off the interception.
WEAKNESSES: Obvious size concerns and won't fit in every scheme. Times his leaps well but will lose out to bigger receivers on jump-balls. Wraps his arms securely but is forced to 'wrassle' opponents to the ground because of his size. Improved ball-skills in 2013 but does not possess ideal hands for the interception, picking off just six of 37 passes defensed over the past three seasons.
STRENGTHS Muscular build with nice arm length. Plays with his eyes. Reads and reacts quickly. Has skills to man up receivers. Soft-footed with flexible hips to pedal easily and transition smoothly. Good zone awareness and reactions. Productive on the ball. Effective blitzer. Has special-teams experience as a gunner and jammer. Durable three-year starter. Has matured and taken a more professional approach as an upperclassman.
WEAKNESSES Press technique needs refinement. Too often allows free release. Clutching, grabbing and incurring flags have been issues in the past. Ball skills are a work in progress. Leaves some production on the field. Inconsistent run supporter. Struggled to contain USC WR Marqise Lee.
Stuggked to contain Lee. Special teams player maybe, watched as few of his vids. He is Def a hard hitter , I like that

STRENGTHS: Looks the part with a tall, long frame and the growth potential to get stronger. Has good first step quickness to burst and change directions quickly with flexible ankles. Uses his long arms to make wrap tackles and finish. Has the athleticism and range to cover a large area and make plays in pursuit. Was very productive in his one season of football at the college level and impressed coaches with the way he quickly adapted to the game despite being away from the field for so long. He has a good work ethic and puts in the time to prepare and get better. As the father of an 11-year NFL veteran, he has athletic bloodlines and knows about the NFL process.
STRENGTHS Very good size-speed ratio. Can win at the snap with his natural bend, hip flexibility and initial take-off quickness. Closes fast to the ball. Has NFL pedigree. Has seen action as a goal-line receiving threat and effortlessly adjusts to the ball. Posted the second-fastest 40-yard dash time (4.58 seconds) of any defensive lineman at the NFL combine behind only Jadeveon Clowney and recorded a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump.
WEAKNESSES: Needs to commit himself to the weight room and add bulk to his body. Needs to develop football strength as well, to hold up in the trenches and match up at the next level. His hip movements are a little stiff and he needs to do a better job breaking down in space. Needs to continue to develop his pass rush moves and learn how to better use his hands to protect his body and shed blocks. Will play too tall at times and needs to learn to use better leverage off the snap. Has only one full season of football experience under his belt since high school and lacks ideal experience, doing his damage at the Division II level.
WEAKNESSES Underdeveloped body. Tends to play too tall and can be run at and neutralized by power. Lacks weight-room strength and explosion and has not learned how to convert speed to power. Raw hand use -- is still learning how to disengage from blocks. Average eyes and instincts -- often late to locate the ball. Not a strong tackler and does not show knockback body power. Must adjust to facing better competition than he saw in the Pennsylvania State Athletics Conference.
Sounds like another speed guy of the side. Could be as nice addition if he plsays well
