Martellus Bennett is definitely gone after this though.

His comment that they overpay super bowl winners is enough for me to know he won't be back.

Guy has to think about his future. He's probably got a good 3-4 years left in him, and then maybe 2-3 more as a sub-par TE2. Gotta get that last big contract while you can, and it most likely won't come from us. I mean, unless they're getting ready to cut ties with Gronk, which I don't see happening.

I mean he was a nice piece but definitely replaceable, I'd rather spend money on defense. Keep the WR core intact too. Add a decent replacement for Bennett for a lot less.

Also I'm still very concerned about Gostkowski, he's been terrible the whole season. Don't know what to expect from him next year and wouldn't be surprised if we replace him.

We won the SB.... You can't cut ties with a kicker who's been one of the best in the league consistently for years because of an off-season, especially when we still won the whole fucking thing. If he sucks it up again next year, that's when I say we start seriously looking for a replacement, until then, I'm not worried about it. It's not like he was that bad either, he just wasn't great, like he always is. It's just another thing we as NE fans always think should be a given, but it's not, kickers miss all the fucking time and we've been blessed to have the two best kickers in the NFL back to back.

We need a better pass rush imo. Seemed to be our most glaring fault this year.

Idk we were 18th in FG%, middle of the pack in attempts, 18th in longest made, 18th in extra point %... if he wasn't hurt then I wouldn't be surprised if we addressed it. Even though we won, we get rid of problems early normally.
