He's done so much this off season to be 100% prepared for this season so I wish him the best.... I really hope he proves all the critics wrong.

Ever since faggot ass Flozell Adams tripped him and injured him hes never been the same player.

Nice deep reception by Randle vs. prince.

Eli Manning just connected on a deep bomb to Rueben Randle.

Your first team LBs: Paysinger, Herzlich, Rivers. It's OTAs, don't get excited.

Andre Brown has been showing no carry over from his broken leg. Looks speedy and cut well on his snaps.

Prince having a nice practice. Was only beaten once. And Murphy is in on this set of drills.

Marc Ross Promoted to Vice President of Player Evaluation Was Director of College Scouting

Quote
Excerpt: "In a move that was a long time coming and quite well deserved, the New York Giants have promoted Marc Ross to Vice President of Player Evaluation. Ross had spent the last six years serving as the team's Director of College Scouting, and has put together an impressive resume that had teams sniffing around him for vacant General Manager positions earlier this offseason.

Louis Murphy's and Eli Manning’s Building Chemistry Early

Quote
Louis Murphy is the most experienced wide receiver on the Giants roster for OTA’s, but he is the least experienced veteran receiver when it comes to working with Eli Manning. Jerrel Jernigan, Ramses Barden, and Reuben Randle are all younger than Murphy, but have been around the Giants long enough to know the star quarterback’s tendencies and preferences. However, Murphy is gaining on the others in the very quickly this spring.

Today, Manning and Murphy connected on several intermediate routes, one over the middle and one on the outside, that had impeccable timing. This is after they teamed up for a seamless, deep touchdown on a post route in last week’s OTA.

On one play specifically, Murphy recalled Manning’s innate ability to read a receiver’s body language on a route. The defender played him to the inside, so Murphy had no other option but to come back to Manning, which was not the original route. Nevertheless, when he turned around, the ball was right in his hands

“He said to me ‘Hey, I saw your body language, I saw what you were doing,’ so as long as I define my movements he can read off of it,” Murphy recalled. He later said, “It’s a plus being able to be on the same page as him.”

Murphy also attributes their chemistry to the few days of workouts that Eli and his brother Peyton held on the campus of Duke University in April, in which Murphy attended along side a few other receivers, including Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz.

He described that weekend as “awesome”, and said that Nicks and Cruz helped him adjust to the plays in everything from 7-on-7’s to their 2-minute drill. The four of them even watched film together to help Murphy get a better grasp on the plays. “It was very helpful going into OTA’s going down there and learning the offense,” he concluded.

Manning is just as impressed with Murphy as his coaches are.

Along with his speed and ability to stretch the field, Manning praised Murphy’s off-the-field work ethic as well. “Louis has come in and worked really hard. He’s got the desire and commitment to come in and bring another threat to his offense,” Manning noted.

If Murphy continues in this way, he could potentially beat the younger and more talented Rueben Randle for the third receiver spot.

Going to be a nice weapon for Eli this season.... going to see more time than people expect out of a 4th receiver B)

It really is amazing how Eli makes everyone around him better

WR LOUIS MURPHY

Q: What have you learned from Eli out there?
A: I’ve learned a lot. I’m learning the offense and just learning what he likes, pretty much just learning the plays and getting out there and getting acclimated to the heat. The first day was really hot. Just learning a lot.

Q: You’re getting more reps with Cruz and Nicks not here. How helpful is that?
A: It helps a lot with being able to get some reps out there. I wish those guys the best in their situation. I’m just going out working and trying to get better at my craft.

Q: What’s Eli like to work with as a receiver?
A: He’s great. He’s coaching us up and telling me what he sees so we can be on the same page. Just working and trying to get better each and every day.

Q: What’s it like to catch his deep ball?
A: It’s awesome. He throws the ball great. On my end I’ve just got to go make the play.

Q: Early on with your time with Eli, do you think you can build a good connection with him?
A: Yeah. One play we ran, the DB was sitting inside and I couldn’t really get inside so I came back towards him and he threw it and he was like, ‘I read your body language. I saw what you were doing.’ As long as I’m defining my movements, he can read off of it. So that’s a plus being able to just be on the same page with him.

Q: Help us understand what it was like down at Duke when Hakeem, Victor and yourself were working with Eli.
A: It was awesome being down there with those guys. I was the new guy at the time, still kind of young and just learning those plays and they were helping me out. Victor was helping me out, Hakeem was helping me out and we were just going through the plays. We went through everything: seven on sevens, two minute, just going through the play calls and watching film. It was very helpful for me coming into OTAs. It was very helpful going down there and really learning the offense.
