Okay it's very clear we're moving Khalil to defensive end or a primary edge rusher. I don't think he'll be playing the SLB spot he was last year.


EDIT: Raiders say they drafted Valles as a defensive end.

I dunno man, we've picked a bunch of late round LBs...I doubt they'll supplant Mack. Probably just throwing darts at a wall at this point and hoping one sticks.

I don't think they'll supplant him, I just think we're trying to utilize his strengths differently. We obviously have an abundance of people at LB, and Mack is good enough where he can succeed at DE. Not supplanting at all.

I really don't see us moving Mack, he did far too well last season for that to make sense. Then again, this is the team that ruined Robert Gallery.

I'm really seeing these players as battling for special teams spots.

This draft really wasn't up to the same standard as last year's :/ Not a complete loss (grabbed WR, DT, and RG) but we really didn't address ILB, DB, or DE. Sort of bummed about that many positions going relatively untouched, especially when we took a TE in the 3rd, and we don't really need a TE. Maybe he's a monster, I dunno. Hopefully I get proven wrong.
