I still can't believe Vernon only got a transition tag he would be a very nice piece but I'd take Malik too

The Dolphins are definitely gambling on that transition tag. If a team front loads the 1st year of the contract, like $22-25 million for just the first year. Phins might not be able to match it.

I'd be happy if we signed Malik.

So Bruce Irvin has followed some Jags players, fans, jags media/beat writers on twitter these past couple days. He followed Fowler and Fowler followed him back. Might be nothing, but it might be something. I wouldn't have any problems getting Irvin though. He'll be the OTTO LB and can play LEO also.

Very nice increase in pay, for the former UDFA.
