My wife was so fucking sweet. Kept bringing me drinks, rubbing my back and head and shit and just trying to be as nice as possible without saying anything. I bet I looked fucking miserable man. I was feeling so crushed at halftime and then the third quarter starts and just gets even worse. I watched every single minute and was still jumping up and yelling on every single good or bad play, but fuck man, I really thought we were cooked. Just can't believe how last night went.

We're the luckiest NFL fans of all time. Even if we suck for 20 years now it won't matter, at least all of us got to see this and experience something most fans will never know. So grateful, so fucking happy and just on a different level right now.

Cowboys fans disagree with your last statement.

great team and proud of everyone but particularly for Tom, REALLY wanted him to win a 5th, especially this year with the suspension. It feels like a big weight has just been lifted off my shoulders as a fan knowing Tom has achieved #5. Still soaking it all in like you guys (jsp pats fans) all probably still are.

what's even more awesome is this team is going to be competitive for a while too...

and guess what...

we have a 1st round draft pick this year! WOOOOO

Nah, knowing BB you'll have 3 first round picks next year because he's gonna trade this year's first for an insane deal next year.

2 when Jimmy G gets traded. Thanks to deflategate of course.
If not a first, a 2nd and 4th will do

A lot of current fans didn't get to actually enjoy any of those wins though. Most Dallas fans I know who are 40+ are still happy about their wins. People who were kids, or didn't really get to enjoy the games because of their age or w/e, seem to have a harder time accepting the long drought.

That makes sense. I can't think of any older Dallas fans that I know.

How much longer is Brady really gonna play? I say try to keep Jimmy and hope Brady calls it a career after next year. Would be like Favre leaving and Rodgers coming in right after.

can't wait to rewatch this game tonight with a fat joint rolled up. last night i drank for social reasons at first, followed by panic, and finally celebratory drinks haha. it didn't seem real. when i woke up at 6am to find my house trashed and a few stragglers still passed out in the couch, i had to ask my girlfriend if this really happened lol. i was going insane last night. i've never seen such an intense game ever. or felt that way. i truly never did stop believing, but had the falcons gone up by any more points i would have. that missed extra point was a dagger to the heart, luckily it didn't bite us later

Unless he gets injured next year, I'd say he goes for another 2 years, possibly 3 if he's still balling. I think next year will be a fairly mediocre showing, 11 n 5 or something along those lines. Year after that is hard to tell. It's impossible to know how much Brady's level of play is going to diminish until we actually start seeing it. Hell, it looked like 5-6 years ago he had lost his long ball, and it doesn't really seem to be hindering him at all. As long as he's got BB, players who would die for him, and the passion to play, he's going to be balling. I'd like to see him retire after 2 more though, I don't want to see him get beat up too bad. It'd be great if he retired with NE and then became a QB coach or something.
