Ok. What I just said about Golden Tate wasn't fair. He did play slot in Seattle (for a bit) and it wasn't a very good experiment for them. However, Seattle also had nothing else opening up the field. I am sure Tate at slot would work just fine for us if we had another WR opening up the field.

As for Ebron. It was a great pickup. We are aiming to get a TE that Stafford can use like Brady/Peyton/Brees have used theirs. And Pettigrew is not that guy.
For those of you pointing out "Ebron's flaws" or questioning the resigning of Pettigrew... Pettigrew is a different TE than Ebron. Yes Ebron struggles with blocking. Pettigrew will be used for that. Ebron will be a receiving TE.

Frankly, Ebron was the best talent available to us for a spot that we needed. We would have been reaching for a CB or S at 10.

And I know there is an argument where people wanted us to trade down. But you have to remember... other teams have to want to trade down. We don't know what the Lions were offered (if anything). So don't get mad about something that might not have even been a possibility.

I would agree with getting another WR in the second. Wouldn't mind getting Marquise Lee if he falls. Also wouldn't mind seeing Van Noy.
