Jaguars owner Shad Khan has announced via statement today that coach Gus Bradley will return in 2016.

Khan's statement:

"I spoke to Gus Bradley today to confirm to him that he will continue as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016, It’s evident to see how far we’ve come in many aspects of our game, and Gus deserves a lot of credit for that progress. The Jaguars have gone 4-12, 3-13 and 5-10 in three seasons with Caldwell as general manager and Bradley as coach.

They close the season at Houston Sunday.

I'm fine with it. He was given a 4 year contract and the record of his first 2 seasons shouldn't really be looked at that much. The roster was garbage when him and Caldwell took over. They had to completely overturn and rebuild the roster. You could see signs of solid improvement this year, their 3rd season, mainly on Offense though.

He better do something about the Defense. The DC better get the axe, just like the OC did last year. FA and the draft has to be Defense heavy. It'll help getting Marks and Fowler back, but the Defense still needs more help.

I'm glad you guys are giving him the necessary time to really redo the roster. The Browns are the poster child of firing people too early, and needless to say it hasn't worked out.
