Don't like that trade. We could've grabbed DaQuan Jones from Penn St in the 4th.

Recent interview he did last week for Celebrity TV. He's a high character and intelligent guy. Really good personality also. I don't think he could have gone to a better team. The Texans have a lot of great coaches on the defensive side of the ball and plenty of talent around him also. The nose tackle is so important in a 3-4 defense. This could be the first really great nose tackle the Texans ever had. I guess Seth Payne was sort of good, years ago, but he wasn't dominating like Louis Nix can be.

My only question is who will be our starting quarterback in 2014? I love all of our picks so far. Maybe we can draft a running back tomorrow? I'm guessing the Texans will try to pull off a trade for Ryan Mallett. If not we'll have to draft a quarterback with our one remaining fourth-round pick tomorrow.

I can see us giving them a 2015 4th or 3rd, depending how well mallet plays.

The happiest player on the Texans right now has to be J.J. Watt. With Jadeveon Clowney and Louis Nix he's not going to have to worry about getting beat up as much as he was last season. And he still produced 10.5 sacks despite seeing constant double blockers.

That offensive tackle from the Colts, Gosder Cherilus, who upper cut and punched Watt in the ribs last season (cheap shot after a play) in that late season game at Indianapolis is going to pay this year. I want to see how that stiff Cherilus handles our defense now.

This video always cracks me up because that sums up our 2-14 season in 2013.

That's what happens when you are the only great player on a defense. Now add Cushing coming back healthy, Clowney and Nix. That's not going to happen anymore. That's three really talented players at key positions. If Louis Nix can eat up two blockers, I don't think opposing offenses will try to use two blockers on J.J. Watt as often. You can't use four blockers on two D-Lineman in a 3-4 defense. The four linebackers would have a field day. Jadeveon Clowney is going to cause some havoc off the edge at outside linebacker.

Trade for Ryan Mallett or draft whoever is left on the board tomorrow in the fourth round. We don't pick again until late in the 4th round (135th overall) and the 35th pick in the fourth round tomorrow. So we'll be lucky if a guy like AJ McCarron or Tom Savage is still on the board at that point.

I'm not really as high on Tajh Boyd and Aaron Murray will still be there in the sixth-round I believe. We don't have a 5th round pick. We have three sixth-round picks and two seventh-round picks, including Mr. Irrelevant. If we draft a quarterback he's not going to start in his rookie season. Ryan Fitzpatrick or Case Keenum would probably start over him. If we acquire Ryan Mallet he would start.

I liked Nix and sua filo but I feel like y'all needed to take a qb. Hopefully mccarron or savage is still there when you pick next. Sounds like the mallett trade isn't going to happen

The run defense and ultimately the pass defense is going to be very good. The Texans pass rush has potential to become elite.

The CBSSports.com NFL Draft crew breaks down the Houston Texans' third round pick Louis Nix.
