Trading Suh would be the dumbest thing we could ever really do. How can any lions fan say they want to trade there only defensive Pro Bowler? The lions haven't had much of them...

Because we are sick of his ME ME ME attitude tbh
and paying a DT $13?Million a year is ridiculous
He has not been a team player and is a circus show

Trade him for a first rounder and take Aaron Donald and Barr/Clinton-Dix

Mayhew just said there's no plan on trading Suh at a press conference e. He also said jokingly a team called him and offered us "a box of old tube socks" and he has no plans of letting suh go.

Also saying that we are not looking at any specific position. We are looking for "good football players at any position".

Sounds like best player available again boys.

If 4 Qbs go in the top 10, they know their guy.
(Clowney, Mack, Watkins, Robinson, Matthews, Evans?)

If no Qbs go in the top 10, they have 10 names.

You guys see this shit with Chris Houston being like injured or something?

Wonder if that will impact our drafting strategy.

IMO my ideal scenario would be to

trade down, acquire an extra second or third round pick

Take CB Darqueze Dennard 1st, take WR Allen Robinson in the second, and grab OLB Kyle Van Noy with our extra pick/trade up if necessary

Dude its easy to make up dream scenarios but even if the was a 10% chance of trading SUh the most you will get out of him is prolly a second rounder (if that). If you ship Suh for nothing that will kill the fan base.

Yeah i would love to Trade down and Grab Dennard if he is still availble and pick up another second rounder and Grab Deone Bucannon(safety) has to be the most underrated prospect in the draft and then yeah either a Robinson or a Landry at receiver than you can get your pass rusher need in the 3rd

Hell yeah I do. What's different between Slay and Gilbert? They are the same players to me. Dennard excels in press coverage and is going to be a flat out stud. What does Gilbert have over Dennard? Return ability and speed? A) return ability is overrated seeing as the vast majority of kicks are blasted out of the back of the end zone AND J Ross proved last year he has the ability to be an exceptional return man and B ) Do you know what Richard Sherman ran in the 40? He ran a 4.54. Speed < cover ability for corners.

Also I have no clue why anyone would want a safety in the first or even the second round. If Jimmie Ward fell to us in the second I would be cool with it just to build depth. However, I don't understand the logic behind drafting a safety such as Pryor or Clinton-Dix with our first pick if he's only going to contribute as a special teamer his first year. Ihedigbo is a more than capable run defender and Glover Quin does well in coverage as the stats will show you. I would MUCH rather take an OLB/CB/stud WR that is going to be a major contributor THIS year seeing as we are in a self-declared WIN NOW mode

Just my two pennies.
