Nope. If EVERYONE did that, media day (or any post game interview for that matter) would be horrifying. But obviously not everyone WOULD do that.

But I think it's pretty smart of Lynch to be like this though. He's getting a lot of publicity, getting to use his "silence" to get endorsement deals, he is defying NFL in his own ways, and he getting people to talk about him ALOT. So good for him, I don't care what he says to the media this week as long as he doesn't get in trouble and performs in the superbowl.

I actually appreciate the fact that Sherman would miss the SB for the birth of his son.

Family should come first. It would suck for us tremendously as a fan and our team would suffer but I am glad that if it came down do it, he would make that decision.
