Bortles has currently been sacked 87 times in his career.
55 sacks as a rookie last year and 32 sacks so far this season.
Just makes what he is doing, even more impressive.

It's kind of a weird statistic. Brian Billick was taking the sixteen games in the middle of a player's second season (it's on NFL.com, it's sort of bullshit).
But that many sacks is insane. I knew Bortles O-Line was shit, but for some reason seeing 60+ sacks in essentially a season really drilled it home. I don't blame his mechanics for regressing after last year.
And before you tear me a new one for saying Bortles mechanics regressed, let me say he has responded beautifully this year, and that anyone would bail with that O-Line.
