Lol wasn't sure where you lived. Oh well at least you're fortunate enough to see them one one in your lifetime and who knows about the future. Did you see the one in 2000?  <_<

Sorry, didn't really provide enough backstory there. I live in Iowa. :(

I saw 2000 but I was ten. Don't remember it at all.

Ok, that's the last time we bring up those memories in this thread -_- lol

Hope you soaked up this one I'm still waiting for the Giants to get back there again.... spoiled :)

Think we have a great shot this year if we don't blow it again by losing to bad teams.

Aaron Curry of Raiders underwent stem-cell therapy

Quote
Oakland Raiders linebacker Aaron Curry remains on the "Active/PUP" list due to a pair of injured knees, but feels he's close to coming back after undergoing stem-cell therapy this offseason, Paul Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area reports.

It's the only thing that's helping me recover," Curry said on Saturday. "Without it, I'd be a lost cause. For sure."

Curry might not have lived up to the "best linebacker prospect in a decade" billing he received coming out of Wake Forest and selected fourth overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2009 NFL Draft. In fact, some could have called Curry a "lost cause" during the final days of his tenure with the Seahawks, but he has been durable.

Curry sat out the final two games of his rookie season with a hip injury, the only games he's missed due to injury in his three-year career. The Raiders are thin and inexperienced at linebacker, and might lose middle linebacker Rolando McClain to a personal conduct suspension, stemming from his arrest last season in Alabama. The Raiders will need Curry to be healthy to start the season.

"My goal is to get healthy and just go out there and be violent, be fast, be a pain in the offense's butt and whatever I have to do on the defense, do it," said Curry. "And do it full speed. I can't do that until my body says it's ready."

Geez... poor guy.

Got a great attitude though, hope both he and Herzlich make the team and can help contribute.

Candidates for "The Leap"

14) C.J. Spiller
15) David Wilson
16) Trent Richardson
17) Bernard Pierce

As a Spiller fantasy owner last year, I found great anguish in Chan Gailey limiting Spiller to just 207 carries. No disrespect to Fred Jackson, but Spiller deserves bell-cow status. Wilson emerged from Tom Coughlin's doghouse and became a home-run threat. Richardson is a serious talent who never got a chance to play at 100 percent last year. Pierce may be the future at running back in Baltimore

Nice little group to be in... Wilson is going to tear it up this season. Going to make our offense so explosive like we thought he would last season. He'll finally be the feature back... him and Andre Brown who is a problem as well.

Marcus Davis. UDFA WR from Va Tech.

Quote
However, if he can go to a veteran roster and develop on the bottom of the depth chart and learn from older vets, he has a chance to truly blossom into a star. Whoever winds up taking a flier on Davis is not going to get an immediate impact player, but they could end up with something special if they have the patience to work with him.

If Davis is able to clean up his game and get the most out of his incredible physical tools, he will wind up being remembered as one of the biggest steals of the 2013 draft.

New York Giants Looking to Sign Victor Cruz Long-Term Over the Next 7-10 Days

Could the Victor Cruz contract situation finally be coming to an end? Mere hours after New York Giants co-owner John Mara said he was "confident" the two sides would come to an agreement, Pro Football Talk is reporting that Big Blue will put the pedal to the metal in hopes of having a long-term agreement signed sometime over the next 7-10 days.

It’s unclear why the next week or so is regarded as important, since there are no deadlines or other milestones that compel an agreement by May 17. Presumably, the Giants and Cruz would like to have the player on the field for the bulk of the Organized Team Activities that cap the offseason program.

With the deadline for signing restricted free agents (RFA) to an offer sheet having come and gone, Cruz's options have been whittled down to a well know and well documented three:

Sign his one-year tender and play for a $2.879 million salary in 2013.
Sign the long-term deal the Giants have reportedly offered him, which is close to $8 million annually.
Refuse to sign his tender or long-term deal and theoretically "holdout."

Because Cruz is technically a free agent, the term "holdout" doesn't exactly explain his latter most option. He could flat-out refuse to sign anything or show up to OTAs, mini-camps, training camps and even some regular season games without the risk of being fined or penalized. However, if Cruz remains unsigned after June 17th, the Giants could then reduce his tender amount to 110% of his 2012 salary or what would amount to the three-year veteran minimum: $630,000.

As of week 10, Cruz could sign his tender offer for a reduced amount of $1.19 million and become an unrestricted free agent (UFA) in 2014. If he waits so much as one more day beyond that, he would lose an accrued season and once again become a restricted free agent in 2014.
