Comparing Case to Johnny? What? are you delusional?

Durability is an issue for EVERY NFL PLAYER ever

JOHNNY came back after an injury to throw for the win,

I implied a far less athletic version aka a poor man's Manziel. He also broke several passing records in college and nearly sniffed an undefeated season in college. Albeit not in the SEC but still pretty impressive at the University of Houston which usually has much less talent to work with than Texas A&M. But quarterbacks like that I'm not sure Bill O'Brien really likes. Many experts would agree that Bill O'Brien and Johnny Manziel wouldn't even be a good fit.

That's true that youth is on his side to continue to improve. Another thing they have in common is they both played for head coach Kevin Sumlin. He'd probably be the perfect guy to ask about any similarities between the two quarterbacks. Johnny Manziel is a much better athlete with a better arm, which ultimately makes him the better version of the two, but are we sure this is the type of quarterback Bill O'Brien can mold into a Super Bowl contender?

If the Texans end up drafting Johnny Manziel number one overall I'll have no choice but to hope for the best. I still think we're better off going with Jadeveon Clowney at #1 and the best available quarterback at #33. If we end up selecting Khalil Mack #1 or trading down, then we're both going to be disappointed. Worst case scenario is we trade down to #6 or so and none of those guys are available. Nothing good can happen from trading down, IMO.

Three more nights to go. Man, I just want the draft to start already but at least we're inching closer.

I havnt followed your opinion too closely.... What do you want done with the first pick now that the draft is almost here?

You are on the 15 minute clock, the fate of the next 4 years of your franchise is on you right now.

Who do you pick?

Jadeveon Clowney is the easiest choice to make. If the Texans bypass him then I surely hope the Jaguars select him at three just so he can dominate us twice a year well into the next decade. That would be a tough pill to swallow but it will surely get Rick Smith fired, if we were to take Manziel or Mack and they bust, and it would be the same boring song for a franchise that can't seem to ever get it right. I want to see the Houston Texans win a Super Bowl or two in my lifetime. I have my doubts that they'll never advance past the divisional round of the playoffs.

EDIT: Assuming we don't trade down or take Jadeveon Clowney, the Rams at pick #2 will surely benefit from our major blunder.

Then we took a chance on a potential game changer on defense. Somebody we can pair with J.J. Watt, who I feel is the best defensive player in the game. I'm tired of seeing Watt being double and triple teamed. Getting beat up every other play because there is nobody else, other than a healthy Brian Cushing, who can make plays on our defense.

It wont happen. At worst clowney will be a serviceable end with a solid 1-2 Pro Bowl apperances based solely on his sack numbers. That size and speed alone will make him at the very worst a poor mans Julius Peppers.

I am assuming you were pretty heavy into sports before the Texans became a team... Who were you a fan of before?
