lol? I'm pretty sure more people use it to avoid pushes then create them....... half points are not that expensive. I would almost always pay a little more and take -2.5 over -3 any day, same with -6.5 instead of -7 and -9.5 instead of -10. I would also take +3.5 instead of +3,etc How is that not a good strategy.... For the most part you buy points to push for underdogs and you buy points to avoid pushes for favorites.
