1) The list is to help new bettors, not for people who are familiar with the community. It's simply a guideline of who's been around for a while. It's not supposed to be a social status, like your desire for exclusiveness on it would make it.

2) The idea that removing people from the list would prevent welches is fucking retarded. A person who has been around here for some time is just as likely to welch whether they're on the list or not. How would removing somebody from the list and getting them pissed at the community make them help the community?

3) The list is constantly reevaluated, so the idea of somebody being active tagged after two years AFK is just ridiculous. There's very few, if any, people on the active list that are AFK. What to do with AFK trusteds is still up in air, but it's really not a big issue.
