Okay, let's have some thoughts.
The defense really, really needs to get to the quarterback. RGIII has far too much time to make his throws today and whenever he ran he got far too much yardage. I noticed this against the Giants, as well, as they got a lot of guys around Eli but had a ton of trouble actually bringing him down. Beyond that the defense needs discipline. Too many fucking penalties this game. Over a hundred yards in penalties in a close game like this is obviously unacceptable.
I was very disappointed with the game management. A lot of their play calling was bad. Now, I really believe in Josh Freeman but I think it is bullshit that they don't run an aggressive game until they are backed into a corner in the second half. He made some incredible throws this game and I just really want to see them start it off like they finish. They put far too much stress on their defense by not controlling the ball enough or giving them any support on the board. I was happy to see Blount have some success and hope it is a trend that continues.
I could say more suffice it to say that this game drove me fucking crazy.
I dunno about Freeman... dude is sooo fucking inconsistent and jeckyl and hyde type shit.. As for the playcalling on defense wow.. Who the fuck does an all out blitz with like 50 secs in the game?!?!? seriously stupdi as fuck really made me mad as the D didn't play great but they did enough to get freeman the ball to make a comeback. What I see in Freeman is he has zero accuracy short-mid passes long passes hes great at tho, and when in the pocket he just doesn't look like himself. Also I don't know why they didn't have a spy on RGIII at all times with his running ability.
Other than that we play a deceent game the defense didn't look as good today they missed a ton of tackles and some stupid penalties but whatever we atleast saw the offense click today thats for sure.
On the positives, we gave blount the ball more, freeman and jackson hooked up a couple times,
