Smith has been a game manager. 56% completion rate, 79.8 QB rating - you need to do better than that in this NFL to make it deep into the playoffs.

Chicago almsot pulled it off with Rex Grossman that one year, and the Ravens won it with Flacco (who had a 76.2 rating in the regular season, but a 117.2 rating in the postseason), in part thanks to a huge gift from Denver.

Times are rolling high now for Smith but it is of my self-educated and personal opinion that it won't always be as such. He's a mediocre QB at best.

Baltimore ravens in 2000 with Tony Banks and then Trent Dilfer, they didn't score a touchdown for like 5 or six weeks..super bowl champs

I am not saying I believe the chiefs are going to win it all but they have a chance and defense has won it for teams before
