no, he hasnt. his only production is with shanahan. he's not a #1 wr, most people understand that. he isnt worth a first rd pick or 25 mil a year, if a team gives both they are going to be basement dwellers.

I'm sorry you wouldn't trade a 1st round pick for one of the most productive receivers in the league?

How many 1st round picks never amount to anything in the NFL.

this is the dumbest thing you've said so far.

"herp derp Deebo isn't good enough at just being a WR"

Up until week 9, Deebo had only 6 carries throughout 8 games. 2 carries in week 2 for 8 yards. 2 in week 3 for 0 yards. 1 in week 4 for 1 yard and 1 in week 5 for 13 yards and a TD. His receiving numbers during that stretch... 49 catches for 882 yards and 4 TDs. 4 100+ yard receiving games during that stretch 189, 156, 100 and 171.

Week 9-17 is when they started to really give him carries, he got 5-8 carries a game during that stretch. His receiving numbers during those games. 28 catches for 523 yards and 2 TDs. Only 1 100+ receiving yards game during that stretch, 159. 3 weeks in a row he only logged 1 catch as well, weeks 10, 11 and 13.

Also, Julio Jones is the most physically gifted WR to come into the NFL since Calvin Johnson. The fact that this dude is trying to compare Deebo to him is hilarious. But that season with Jones getting 1871 receiving yards, he had 136 catches on 203 targets. Deebo had 1405 receiving yards on 77 catches and 121 targets. Give Deebo 80 more targets and he would have destroyed that 1871 receiving yards. Deebo also played 16 games this past season like Jones did that year. Deebo was inactive during week 12.

And saying Deebo isn't a good route runner.. LMAO.

you dont get the production from last season in a trade, you get the talent. put deebo on the cowboys (who apparently are interested in him) and he wont even be their leading wr. deebo is excellent, i never said he wasnt a good player, but he in no way is an elite wr, and even if he was he would barely be worth a first rounder and a huge contract. this isnt adams or hill.

would any of you put money on deebo having better stats than last year this season if he stayed on the 49ers? he had a great year and luckily stayed healthy given his physicality, but he likely wont do it 2x. there are very few players in this league worth nearly 30 mil a year, and even fewer that are worth that much plus draft picks.

the best place for deebo is the 49ers. it would be dumb for a team to give a hill/adams trade package for him.

And you don't get the production of past Hill/Adams either and they aren't worth their trades/money. You really think Hill is going to be the same player without Mahomes and Reid? Adams the same player without Rodgers? You think their production is just magically going to carry over, but there's no chance Deebo's could? lol. I see Hill having a big drop in production and Adams will as well. Not as bad as Hill's will be, but Adams will take a step back as well. Tua and Carr are not Mahomes and Rodgers.

Shanahan is a great play caller, but Garoppolo isn't anything special and probably more overrated than anything. Shanahan and his weapons (Kittle and Deebo) make him actually look decent from time to time.

Deebo will be good wherever he ends up because of how he plays. I just don't think you've really watched much of his game to be honest, considering some of your takes on him.

Of course he isn't worth $30m per, nobody is but great QBs.

Hate to lose him but if he doesn’t want to be a gadget player then I say we need to trade him while we can get multiple first round picks guys that we can build with trey around

hill is much more fool proof. im sure his production will dip because he left reid, but at the same time a pretty clear blueprint was made for how to use him. regardless of team hill is one of the fastest players in the league and one of the best deep threats, as well as one of the best open field runners. i see hill as a hall of fame caliber wr.

adams, look he's the best wr in the league. the trade was dumb for the raiders because he's old and expensive, but they needed help selling tickets and getting interest in the team, so i understand.

deebo's greatest asset is the energy he brings to a team. he made multiple plays last year that sparked the entire team. problem is, he wants to be paid based solely on his 1 good year of production at the highest price a wr has ever been paid, it's ludicrous. there is 1 reason and 1 reason only deebo wants to be paid right now, because even he doesnt think he'll replicate those stats another time. so you have a relatively unproven player who wants a change of role after 1 good season and wants to be paid top wr money before he proves he can be a top wr.

if deebo wants 25 mil and im the gm, no. id trade him for a 1st or make him play this year out. you already need to find another player to fill the role he refuses to play again, so deebo instantly becomes that much less valuable to me.

Kadarius Toney is supposedly being shopped too. Wouldn't surprise me if he developed into a similar player.

i doubt any team would be dumb enough to trade for him. kid is electric but sounds like a damn idiot. if we could get a first for him im all for trading him. our team sucks too much to have these distractions. this is why i love shep. never hear a peep from him, guy is the epitome of a professional and team player.

Yeah I don’t see what these guys see, not like it’s all Shanahan why Deebo led? or at least was at the top of the league in YAC. Dude is a beastly athlete and has great field vision. Credit to Shanahan’s system for sure but Deebo will thrive in any offense
