I wouldn't put Lamar or Murray in top 10 category myself.

Deshaun Watson will need to prove he can still do it this year before I would put him in top 10 category too. Sitting out an entire season doesn't exactly make you better at the game.

Lol, so are you implying in a year off he forgot how to play football bro?

It happens all the time in sports, players sit and pout when they aren’t happy with their team or contract, doesn’t really ever translate to that players talent falling off a cliff.

I never said he forgot how to play, but there will be rust. Some players come back from the rust a lot better than others.

Le'Veon Bell for example, he was never the same after he sat a year. Bro...

I am mostly saying the Browns overpaid for a QB that hasn't seen action in over a year. I am not saying they should have kept Mayfield since he was trash, but I am not sure about 230 mil guaranteed to Watson either.

Comparing an aging running back to a pro bowl qb in his prime is kinda clownin. I think most people realize Watson is going to continue to play at a high level, else they wouldn’t have thrown 200+ mil at him while he’s still facing civil suits.

Plus, bell went to the worst team in the league, he set himself up for failure.

Bell was 26 when he sat his year, not exactly aging and he was a pro-bowler as well.

Because of the civil cases or based on talent? Watson has proven more, with a shittier organization. And he has more mobility.

the civil cases have a ton to do with it, but Herby is the prototypical quarterback that I would want to build a team around

NFL is getting fancier and more shiny but the dull pocket passing QB always gets it done through and through, and character is very important with leaders.

You don't think every person in Cleveland and/or the teammates are going to think "is our qb a legitimate rapist?"

those things don't dissipate into thin air and are very palpable imo

Mahomes
Burrow
Rodgers
Brady

Are the only 4 that are for sure better than Watson.

Argument can be made for any of

Lamar
Herbert (I’d disagree tho)
Murray

So at WORSE he’s eighth.

And honestly burrow and Mahomes are the only QBs I would confidently take over him, he’s more like top 5.

/e I forgot about Josh Allen, throw him in the mix somewhere, Watson still better tbh

You have to be gay with all the dick riding you do. Every fucking qb the Browns get are fucking top 5, better than everyone, etc.

Take a break and give those busted spokes time to heal.

The defense gave up a lot of points early on in the season, and cut that nonsense out quickly which is what you expect from a young team. Wel coached and came together as a unit to absolutely stifle opposing offenses.

Unfortunately captain dickhead couldn’t move the chains and was turning the ball over left and right, so teams we should’ve held under 17 end up with scores like 24-26 (take the packers game for example)

The browns defense will almost certainly be a top 5 unit this season.

And Watson is easily top ten, not even gonna argue with ur retarded logic on that one.

When you havent played football for a year and you go to a new team. Nothing is ever for certain.

When he was playing with the Texans he was definitely in that conversation.

Good point with Mayfield turning the ball over a lot. Thats very true. Cant believe I forgot about that.
