there is some truth to those claims. sure brady was paid as a top 5 qb, but at any point in time for 15 years he could of demanded and got top qb money. i dont think brady has ever set the qb market, and he could of multiple times over. granted, he has a rich wife and im sure crooked kraft handed him some massage parlor checks, but as far as contract wise he's been relatively team friendly. compare that to someone like rodgers that basically killed any chance of his team being good due to greed.

He was paid top QB money - just not officially. The Patriots "contracted" a business that TB owned so he collected $ without impacting the salary cap.
