You have no guarantee they will pay and you took on that risk when betting.

If you make another bet you are forcing the third party to take on that risk as well

It's pretty common sense BUT it wasn't written out explicitly.

IE: The rule may have been "don't bet with fg you don't have" but the rule gets a bit blurred when it's fg that was won (the game has already ended) but the med or the person who got it u/f isn't on to pay out and some people utilized that for their gain despite the risk (even if the risk isn't that high, it is still possible).

Overall, it's just to minimalize the risk of being welched.

I agree with it. Don't bet with fg you don't have, it's pretty simple. Yes, it can be a pain if you're strapped and you want more to bet on another game asap, but this makes for a much safer forum at the price of people maybe being slightly inconvenienced, it's a fair trade off imo.

Additionally, if you do feel that you're going to need fg as soon as your bet is won and you need to use a mediator, why not ask the mediator in advance if he would be able to send should you win right when the game is over? Some meds might not respond, some might tell you to go fuck yourself, but there's probably a couple out there that would say "sure, no problem", and there you go. Puts the responsibility in your hands and makes for a better all around forum.
