It also doesn't mean he was on the field often, heh.

Regardless of what he does next season, I'd feel more comfortable with him starting and drafting an ILB earlier than I would stacking CB while keeping Clay inside, relying on the players on the roster to form a serviceable second ILB, hope that Peppers can continue to fight his age, and expect Neal and Perry to be serviceable outside.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you at all. Simply saying the needs of other teams and the drop off in talent is significant at CB. That's all. Hayward returns to form from his rookie year and Shields earns that new deal he got last year.

I understand your thinking. A lot of people feel the biggest need is CB, I just don't see it with the current options at ILB and needing 2 of them.

You're definitely misunderstanding me or didn't read my previous posts. ILB is the biggest need without question. I'm just saying out of the top 6 prospects at that position which I highlighted before, one is more likely to drop to the 2nd round for us than one of the top CBs. TT is all about finding value and the need for an ILB shouldn't dictate whether we deviate from taking the best value on the board when it's our turn. This is simply based on what I've read and seen in the last CFB season ofc

No. I didn't mean you were one of them. I've seen a lot of Packer fans saying that we MUST take a CB in the first, with a good amount of them thinking that trading up will be cheap this year and that we should shoot for the 12-18 range.

Oh dear god... Please no. CBs are a big enough risk as it is... No need to mortgage the rest of the draft on a player who is ranked slightly higher by dbag Kiper

I had somebody on Reddit yesterday tell me that because there's not a lot of top end talent this year, it will be cheaper to trade up and get one of the players worth taking in the top 20.
