I honestly wouldn't be opposed to seeing Khalil Mack going there either I know I didn't vote that way but he is proven as a 3-4 OLB and I think he could be just as dominant as Clowney. Mack is a great athelte just like Clowney only difference is the size.

You're probably one of those guys who actually believe he was double and triple teamed on every play huh?

Not every play but every game he was being targeted by opposing offenses as a guy you have to account for. Some plays he wasn't even blocked. Offenses just gave up and ran the ball away from him using that offensive lineman on him to just pull block in the opposite direction. He still had the quickness to make the tackle from four yards away.

Now Mack would be the perfect fit for their 3-4 Rush OLB. Perfect fit.

This kind of play I was talking about. That type of quickness and athleticism is unbelievable.

Crennel already said he'd put Clowney at OLB, and Clowney lost 10 lbs so he doesn't have to play 34 DE.

I assumed the plan was to play Clowney at DE for your 3-4, but idk much about your current personnel.

Pure OLB would be dumb, unless it's like a Suggs-style JOLB where his hand is in the dirt 90% of the time.

Absolutely he was game planned for. They ran away from him sometimes, doubled him sometimes, but he also seen one on ones plenty, plenty of times.

Free run at the RB... really? Am I suppose to be impressed by this?

I do agree with you that ideally he'd play defensive end in a 4-3 defense. I just don't want that to be the reason why we pass on him. If he's rated by the Texans as the best player in the draft then I want him to be selected number one overall. You have to trust in the coaching to put the players in the right position to succeed. It's usually best to draft the best player available and not necessarily on need. We need a quarterback badly.

You act like a lot of players can make that play. If you're not impressed by that play then I don't know what to say.

Exactly. Great coaches play to their player's strengths and put them in the best situations to win. They don't try and force players into doing something they shouldn't be doing just because that's the scheme they run. It almost never works out.
