jeremiah over jeffcoat?

son, im disappoint.

SD took jeffcoat, lol

I too was disappoint.

/e got excited when jeffcoat was there to start the 3rd, and there were 2 other DEs still ranked ahead of him, but SD snatched him before either of the 2 DEs went.

first-pick has a more in-depth but completely ridiculous sim where you can include trades. but i still do prefer fanspeak.

NTB but no OL :(

Carey could either bulk up as a RB or be a really short slot WR (there was some talk of this swich).  I'd see him really as a Westbrook/Bush type of guy that should be comfortable splitting out as a WR but also still able to run the ball.  If he can do returns that would be perfect.

Took Bridgewater because I think he's the only QB I'd want out of this draft, and Matthews and Watkins were both taken.

Did a second one, honestly like this better. Fills (IMO) our biggest concerns with three solid picks.

Round 1 - Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
Round 2 - Michael Sam, DE/OLB, Missouri
Round 3 - Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois
Round 4 - Josh Huff, WR, Oregon
Round 5 - Hakeem Smith, SS, Louisville
Round 6 - Xavier Grimble, TE, USC
Round 7 - No Pick

I hated this draft at first but in the end I really liked it lol. If we got this we'd get a very solid CB2 and SS to go with Peterson and Mathieu, a TE that should not have still been available. One of the top pass rushers in the draft, a speed receiver go with Fitz and Floyd and my favorite QB in this draft. Address the OL in FA some and call it a day.

I'm doing a three-round simulator for the Houston Texans. Those picks to me will be the most important for us. This is what I ended up with.

YOUR TEAM
HOUSTON TEXANS
YOUR PICKS

R1 (1st overall) DE JADEVEON CLOWNEY
SOUTH CAROLINA

R2  (33rd overall) QB JIMMY GAROPPOLO
EASTERN ILLINOIS

R3 (65th overall) ILB SHAYNE SKOV
STANFORD

We have Mike Vrabel as new linebackers coach. He seems like a Mike Vrabel type of player. I'd call him Brian Cushing 2.0
We'll be stacked at linebacker with Brooks Reed and Whitney Mercilus on the outside, Skov and Cushing in the middle.
And the two studs up front in Watt and Clowney causing havoc. All of a sudden our front seven would be great again.

my Boi Mike Vrabel, man i really miss him on the pats roster, good to see him coaching now tho

you really are trying for Grap in that 3rd round, I would be surprised if he makes it to the Cards in the second :(

Oh he was just available still.

Honestly, as much as I love him, he's not worth a second rounder just yet. Small hands, not always the most accurate and played against absolutely no competition so who knows how he'll handle NFL defenses.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt what you say, he'll probably go somewhere in the second because he's a QB, but idk if he's worth it just yet. If he shows me something I like at the combine, I'd be willing to take him in the first to be honest, but as of now, third is a good round for him.

8: Khalil Mack DE/OLB
40: Calvin Pryor FS
72: Jimmy garoppolo QB
96: Cyril Richardson G
107: Daquan Jones DT

not a bad draft

Every scout report i've read he has great hand size, but ya as for now he grades out a 3rd round, once the combine and prodays come out I definitely see him as a second rounder and QBs like AJ Mccarron falling down

/e that release is unteachable, now just get him some good coaching maybe sit 1-2 years he could be a stud, if Bridgewater or manziel dont fall to the vikes at 8 I wouldn't be upset if they took him in eh second assuming he is still there
