I would fix that then, because this is going to get ridiculous, people just bid every team up then edit and not have to pay.

There are many flawed things with the rules. People just abuse em.

Hockey forum does this, and there are never these problems. lol

You should be allowed to retract your bets.

not when you outbid 5 other people to be an ass then decide oh no I might actually have to pay.

This, can't do this with a real auction. Once you put in a bid you can't retract it.

If this happens again I'll add a rule, but I'm not going to add a rule every single time there's an auction. I hope you guys make the right decision with what happened with last auction.
