Sean Taylor
Gale Sayers/Bo Jackson/Terrell Davis
Sterling Sharpe

I'm also going to list guys that could have been GREAT or even better than they were if they had work ethic of say a Michael Jordan.

Randy Moss (As GREAT as he was, he could have been hands down the best if he had worth ethic)
Plaxico Burress (As good as he was, he never had the drive to be GREAT... similar to Moss)
Albert Haynesworth

Not sure where to list these players but they could have been great under better circumstances

David Carr (Poor guy was doomed to fail the moment the Texans signed him lol)
Calvin Johnson (He still may end up being the greatest WR ever but his career could have been THAT much better with a competent QB and #2 WR)

You forgot the original Lions #20 RB, Billy Sims.

He is great despite a 5000 yd qb throwing to him. Last year was rough, and Calvin has bailed Stafford out of a shitty throw, I have seen him on more than one occasion come back to a ball or jump out of the fucking gym to catch and overthrown ball, but that's part of what makes him fucking great, but usually Stafford is pretty money throwing the ball if he is not getting pressured too bad, which he usually is... At least Stafford had the balls to be drafted #1 to and play for a losing team, that's one thing you can never say about Eli....

I was just exaggerating your point... I agree with xnozx Stafford had a shit year last year, I'm on record bitching about it. I disagree that HE is holding him back, it the entire organization. If your gonna dis my team, blame them all, its not all Stafford's fault he has 3-5 tops seconds to throw the ball or get creamed, it's not any players fault they don't have a legit threat opposite Calvin, and oh yeah he did break Jerry legit #1 receiver Rices record, while being hampered by a "sub par" qb , not Joe Montana or Steve Young, based on that logic alone Calvin Johnson is already the GOAT!!!!

That was Noz's point - think about how much better CJ would look with a guy like that throwing to him.
