i concur with the notion that this amanda todd girl shouldnt be praised like this, while others go seemingly unnoticed. but nowhere would i cross the line to say she doesnt deserve pity, or even forgiveness.

Suicide, no pity for anyone who does it. Weak, cowardly, selfish people do that, they deserve nothing.

but you can stamp those motives on suicide victims all you want. but you ask a professional psychiatrist or physician why 'so and so' killed themselves, and they will rarely hint @ those notions of cowardice etc....

Growing up I heard stories from parents/aunt and uncles about people getting bullied all the time but I never heard of a shit ton of kids bringing guns to school or committing suicide

Then I'm ignorant. I feel for all those that are left behind, not the fool who couldn't handle life. We all have shit in our lives, we all go through hard times, some more than others, but we shouldn't praise those who can't handle it, we should put all the praise in those who overcome the tough times and hang in there, even at the worst moments. The Amazing Hipster Spider-Man said it best.
