this is one thing a LOT of people seem not to be able to recognize
regardless of their mediocrity over the years, they have retained a number of their high draft picks for following contracts
I might be way off base here but Andrew Berry cooked with this trade. Verse has tremendous upside for a much lower price tag.
They're not in win now mode with Garrett so they downgraded at edge and acquired more capital
textbook trade imo
Maybe it's one of those ideal transactions that benefits both parties
But it just seems so good for LA.. a generational talent to a team that was already a SB favorite
Arguably the best pair of WR in the league, PFF rated top offensive line by margin, AND the top edge rusher.
Here's the thing about Garret... he's getting sack records on a team that isn't forcing opponents into passing situations.
This should be obvious but I'm just gonna say it anyways - the Rams are set up to dominate teams this year, and Garret will be feasting on having so many obvious passing situations to rush on.
