I work for a couple companies that pretty much just need bodies to fill for various national acts/events that come to town. Sometimes I'm a roadie loading and unloading trucks, sometimes I'm putting up set designs, lighting, etc. Cool gigs, most of the time there is no work to do while the artist is playing so you're getting paid while just enjoying the show. Worked the PGA championship in may for I Love NY/Taste NY and was the best gig ever man, lol got paid $30 an hour (with $60 lunch vouchers) to just talk about New york attractions and taste test various foods and wine from the state lol. Got to watch all the golf i wanted after my shift etc. on my lunch breaks i'd go get gloves/ balls signed by the golfers and sell them on ebay making bank.

Damn this sounds like a sweet gig! I would have had a hard time not asking golfers to sign my shaft...
