Really? Watkins is a big-play waiting, besides Mike Evans wont be available at #10 his stock has skyrocketed and it looks like Tampa Bay may take him.



You want to take a guy that WANTS to be somewhere. Its very clear Watkins wants to be a Detroit Lion, and the Detroit Lions want Watkins.

I'll roll the dice on a guy like Watkins because he'll actually have time to learn from Megatron and Tate before taking the reins on the outside.

PLUS! If Megatron has to sit (I.E. Greenbay) then having somebody on the outside like Watkins would be tremendous.

I think everybody is forgetting about Broyles.

Drafting Watkins/Evans will give Broyles enough time to rehab his knees. If this kid can get healthy, he'll be a great contributor and most likely a cheap cap-hit for a long time.

Lgb I agree with you on everything except broyles. I think the guy prob doesn't have a lot left to offer now.
