Crazy, crazy game. It was so intense. Loved it.
I wouldn't say I loved it lol. That's the most stressed I've felt watching football since the SB.
I'm just glad we finally beat those fucks. Coughlin has BB's number, he's the only coach who can consistently go head to head and make us under-perform while his team over-performs. Either way, NY can be an impressive unit at times, and I'm legitimately worried that we could face them again in SB 50.
First we lose Lewis, and now Edelman. I'm worried about our offense, Amendola is going to need to step up in a big way. I don't think LaFell or Dobson are capable of filling his shoes. Our run game should be fine, especially once we start incorporating White a little more.
Either way, we can't take many more hits, we're losing too many offensive weapons. We're one Gronk injury away from being completely desolated on that side of the ball, and our corners don't know how to turn the fuck around and at least play off PI like even mediocre corners.
I was embarrassed with how poorly our secondary played. There was at least 2 more blatant PI plays that we got away with. The one bright spot out of the whole thing was further affirming that Butler could potentially be the real deal. Time will tell whether he continues to improve or if he hits a serious slouch in the next year or two. Either way, I was impressed with his play on of the best the NFL has to offer.
GG NE and let the undefeated season continue. Denver was the only game I was really worried about, and they seem to be imploding. It's entirely possible we go undefeated. Bills, Jets, and Denver, I think those are the only teams who even have a shot at beating us.
