Have no clue why we cut arguably our 3rd best player last season. Kerry Rhodes was a top-5 safety in the NFL last year(per pff), and we've got nothing back there having already cut 2 of our other starters from last year in the secondary.
Kolb's got to be cut now(should've been cut before Rhodes), hopefully Stanton takes advantage of his opportunity. Good contract too. Mendenhall only 1 year too, so thats relieving.
Stanton's the only guy I'm really happy about signing, but that's easily offset by losing Rhodes. Lost Toler gained Powers, we're behind there too.
Yeah but Rhodes was purely a money thing so meh, sucks but whatever, I have the utmost of faith in the new front office so we shall see.
I'm in the middle on Stanton, just have to wait and see there too.
Powers and Toler I think is even, we flip flopped with the Colts and saved money.
I really like the Bell signing (if it happens) and he can replace Rhodes. Not saying he's anywhere near as good as Rhodes, but he can step in there. Johnson showed a lot of talent down the stretch last year so I'm glad that we replaced ADub with him.
EDIT: And I really want Cribbs. Dynamic on special teams and a major deep thread in the pass game which fits perfect for Arians.
