It was not an unreal game from a pure football standpoint lol.... The Giants beat themselves...plain and simple. New England didn't even deserve a chance and the fact that it was decided by the clock not running during a play that would have got them under the 2 minute warning about 4 plays earlier is a travesty. Then that touchdown that wasn't.. I don't disagree with the call but the fact that they're so inconsistent with it drives me mad. OBJ needs to make that catch but the Giants need to run the ball.
Now I'm going to do the math here. 2:10 remaining, 2 timeouts left for New England. Giants run the ball for a gain of 6 or so, still 2:10 on the clock. lol???? That play lasted at least 5 seconds because Jennings is slow as death and his runs take forever. So there should be 2:05 on the clock after that play, 1 timeout for New England. Then the next play supposedly lasted 4 seconds, but lets be real, a play that far down the field DOES NOT last 4 seconds. We'll say 5 just to get under the 2 minute warning. So 2 minute warning, 1st down Giants, New England 1 timeout. They run the ball 3 times and drain the clock down to 35 or so seconds.
You can't say that the clock not running on that play did not change the way the Giants went about their business. Absolutely disgusting to lose this game the way it happened.
