Pro day doesn't mean anything. Colt McCoy was amazing on his pro day and he hasn't had a successful career.

Wow. If you can sell me on the idea that Blake Bortles can play on Sunday like he's throwing the football right now. I'd be sold on him.  Only one drop and it was the fault of the wide receiver. Blake Bortles threw a perfect bullet pass like a lazer. Excellent accuracy, amazing strength. Beautiful tight spirals. Very Dan Marino esque. He looked upset that a ball hit the ground even once.

I'll eat crow for today at least. Blake Bortles was very impressive. He looked sensational today. I watched Teddy Bridgewater's pro day and felt incredibly disappointed which was the total opposite. The pro days of Johnny Manziel and Jadeveon Clowney are still to come but so far Blake Bortles helped his draft stock tremendously.

I dunno if you was wathcing the same thing but Bortles had a very pedestrian pro day... He doens't have a strong arm but average for an nfl qb he did throw it like 60+ yards overthrow btw. He went something like 36-47 and at the end he really seemed like he was tired and did not put anything on his throws like he did in the beginning. Either way it most likely won't affect his draft day. He does great at throwing on the run to the right and I think he does that better than in the pocket only time will tell but if he falls to #7 I would not be mad if the Bucs took him :)

I'm trying to go back and watch as much game film as I can. Bill O'Brien knows what he wants in a quarterback so I'll trust his judgment.

I'm told 3/4's through Blake Bortles workout Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien let it be known "I've seen all I need to see"..

Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner openly said something to the effect, "great - this means he (Bortles) won't be available for us."

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles impressed a contingent of NFL people, including Texans coach Bill O’Brien and general manager Rick Smith, at his pro day inside the Nicholson Fieldhouse.

Bortles (6-5, 232 at the combine) made every throw during a workout that lasted about 30 minutes.

“I was very impressed,” O’Brien said. “He made every throw I wanted to see, and he showed good footwork.”

O’Brien and Smith met with Bortles on Tuesday night.

“I like what he did,” Smith said. “I was very impressed with him.”

Former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski of ESPN graded Bortles’ pro day on a scale of 1-10.

“I give him a 10,” Jaworski said. “I think he smelled a little blood in the water considering (Louisville quarterback Teddy) Bridgewater had a subpar day.

“He was well prepared and did everything right.”

That's Blake Bortles' girlfriend. Anyways, who knows which player the Texans will draft. I still want Jadeveon Clowney number one overall.

Schaub to Raiders. Glad we got something for him instead of cutting him and getting nothing. We saved $4M, have about $10M in our cap space, and don't have to pay Schaub in 2014 or 2015.

Wonder who O'Brien will pick from Keenum or Yates. Fitzpatrick will be our backup or starter, and we're definitely drafting a QB this year, so we can't keep both of them. Personally, I'd go with Yates.

I hope we only gave a 6th or 7th round pick...
