Please let this happen. I'll literally take a 7th round draft pick.

If the Raiders traded for Matt Schaub that would be a huge boost for the Texans' salary cap situation.
They wouldn't have to wait until June 1 to release him and wait two years to clear his dead money.
I just don't know why the Raiders would want to help the Texans out so much? I'll be thrilled though.

They need to spend at least 89% of the cap space, their HC is probably on the hot seat and Pryor isn't going to help them to get into the playoffs.

What about that young 24-year-old kid Matt McGloin? He looked pretty good when he beat the Texans at Reliant Stadium last season. I know it's only one game but he didn't look nearly as bad as how Matt Schaub looked during his handful of starts in 2013.

The only way Matt Schaub would be an upgrade over the quarterbacks the Raiders currently have is if he plays like he did two, three and four years ago. He did lead the Texans to a 12-4 record in 2012 and was playing as well as any QB in the game when they started off that season with an 11-1 record. That seems like forever and ages ago.

The Minnesota Vikings already met with him earlier today. Not sure why unless they plan to trade up.

And why would we want McGloin? He isn't anything special, and we already have Keenum and Yates as our backup.

I think T.J. Yates will be released or traded for a late-round pick in order to make room for two new quarterbacks.
Case Keenum is the only guy that's staying on next year's roster. Bill O'Brien has spoken highly of Keenum so far.
Bill O'Brien coached Matt McGloin while at Penn State didn't he or am I mistaken? Obviously the familiarity factor.
