What's wrong with drafting Foster? I had room to stash a player and took him really late. I'm crazy deep at RB and he's worth the risk.

Got 2 rookies vying for the Flex spot: Amari and TJ. Should be fun watching them both begin their promising careers

I don't believe in Foster until he's playing on Sunday and putting up legit stats. Groin injuries are no joke for a RB and he's injury prone as is.

I like Cooper, but no hate towards Bennygod, but I don't have much faith in Carr.

The hope is Bortles will continue his much improved strong preseason into the season and it'll soften up the box for Yeldon and Co.

BortlesGOATs mechanics have looked much better as of late it's nice seeing a Jacksonville qb actually improve for once

yeldon actually has vision though, while trich doesn't kid so fuck off with your troll shit

He's like a rich man's Bernard Pierce. Has a nice one-cut running style, but he's just too slow to rip off big gains. Maybe he was just playing injured or got out of shape his final season, but he was the 2nd best RB on that Bama team.

Bortles has looked better all around and he should. His jump from year one, into year two is night and day.

This team is still very young, but Bortles seems to have a solid grasp of what's going on. There's going to be fuck ups along the way, as that's given with such a young Offense, but as of right now everything is looking pretty solid.

Minus the fact that we're going to be missing multiple starters on both sides for at least the first month of football zzz. Bortles has already looked like the best QB we've had since Brunell

nobody cares about top speed for a RB, considering there's only a small few RBs who can break it away regardless.

The Jaguars’ roster is at 57 players following 18 cuts today:

The list:

DT Richard Ash

DE Camaron Beard

DE Cap Capi

WR Kasey Closs

OG Will Corbin

TE Connor Hamlett

CB Jeremy Harris

DE Ike Igbinosun

RB Storm Johnson

TE Ben Koyack

WR Erik Lora

QB Stephen Morris

OG Chris Reed

CB Rashaad Reynolds

WR Neal Sterling

LB Todd Thomas

CB Peyton Thompson

WR Tony Washington

The Jaguars must be down to 53 players by Saturday at 4 p.m.

Quick takes on the cuts so far:

*So far, it’s good news for WR Bryan Walters, RB Corey Grant, RB Bernard Pierce, CB Nick Marshall, LB John Lotulelei, OT Sam Young, OT Austin Pasztor and SS Josh Evans.

*Harris, Johnson, Koyack and Sterling are draft picks.

*Surprised by Koyack since the Jaguars now have only three healthy tight ends on the roster and Sterling, who showed up well Thursday.

*Thompson (hamstring) didn’t play in any of the preseason games and was the only one of the 33 who sat out Thursday who won’t be on the 53-man roster.

*As expected, the Jaguars will go with two quarterbacks (Blake Bortles/Chad Henne) on the active roster.

*Hamlett and Beard were cut for the second time in a week.

*The Jaguars have to decide by tomorrow whether to put DT Sen'Derrick Marks (knee) on the 53-man roster or keep him on the physically unable to perform list, which keeps him out the first six games.

#Jaguars get to 53 by cutting Jeremiah George, Craig Loston and Austin Pasztor. Ziggy Hood to IR … Marks from PUP to 53.

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 4h4 hours ago
Initial #Jaguars 53 roster has 16 new players and nine rookies (counting Myers).

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 4h4 hours ago
Caldwell said Hood had 3-4 week injury, says Marks could be ready before Week 6, said Loston was cleared from ankle. #Jaguars

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 4h4 hours ago
Caldwell -- Branch "hopefully" before Week 6, maybe Week 4, "but you never know." Said Cyp should be ready for Week 1.

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 3h3 hours ago
Caldwell said likely all five tailbacks will be active against Carolina. #Jaguars

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 3h3 hours ago
Caldwell said Young got nod over Pasztor because of ability to back-up both LT and RT. #Jaguars

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 3h3 hours ago
Caldwell disagreed with me saying only three healthy TEs is a gamble, citing it as NFL norm. But #Jaguars used a lot of 3TE in preseason.

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 3h3 hours ago
Caldwell on finding healthy 46: "The good news, everybody who won’t play this week will come back. We have to get through first couple wks."

Ryan O'Halloran ‏@ryanohalloran 3h3 hours ago
On #Jaguars initial roster, only three guys older than 30 ... 27 of 53 are under the age of 25.
