IDK if any of y'all read the Battle Red Blog, but here's an radio interview Brett Kollman did(one of the writer on the site and works for NFL Network).

tl;dr 3rd round grade on Manziel, doesn't know if Clowney will be a good 3-4 OLB, doesn't have speed rush, basically only has power moves, but for a 3-4 OLB you need to be able to have those moves. Mid to late 1st round grade on Bortles, comes from a college system, doesn't know how to play in a pro offense(same for Manziel). Wants Bridgewater, smart player, good size, good arm, knows how to play in a pro offense, best QB in this draft.

I'd rather take Bridgewater over Bortles, that's for sure. Something about Bortles screams bust to me. He just isn't that impressive.

John McLain seems certain the Texans will draft a quarterback and not Jadeveon Clowney but he's been wrong before.

If we do draft a quarterback number one overall I'd love to see the Texans go with Johnny Manziel just because he's the hometown kid.
And I know draino wants Teddy Bridgewater. Wouldn't it be like the Texans to disappoint us all and select Blake Bortles number one? LOL

I'll literally quit watching the NFL if we draft Bortles. That guy would be an awful pick.

We have to be prepared for all possibilities but the good news is something will leak out one or two weeks before the draft.
They'll start having contract negotiations with somebody. We'll know who they are drafting before the evening of May 8.

Yeah. I'd prefer Clowney at #1, but I wouldn't be upset with Bridgewater at #1. I'd be upset if we took Bortles, though.

I think we should draft Clowney and switch back to a 4-3 defense and play him at DE, his natural position. We don't have the linebackers or personnel to run a good 3-4 defense anymore.
