I don't agree with this statement. Would have been nice to land a big name DT or CB but even without...we're not losing a lot to FA. Team should see an improvement in record just from strength of schedule alone...and we've replaced the only real thing we lost (C).

Honestly if we bolster the defense a little bit more and maybe look for a RB (looking like Murray will end up with us bc we have so much fucking money we have to spend and he'll want so much fucking money + nobody else will pay him) we could be in a great spot. Chargers aren't getting any better, Chiefs aren't getting any better...Manning isn't getting any younger...we could honestly be fighting for 8-8 depending on the division we play.

Be just like last year throw money away on vet players that used to be good. Why have murray to expensive for a guy who only made 1 full season in his career and had the best oline to do so. so in end of next season best case is bad. We will have a better record but still not make playoffs giving us shit draft picks. So no progress just another failure.

I'm not looking forward to signing Murray, but I'm saying it's likely to happen given the cap situations. If I were the GM and had money to blow, I might put him on a 1-2 year contract, but I'd probably avoid him and instead throw money at CBs and DTs.

So we missed on Suh and Cobb... not that big of a deal. Would have had to pay them so much money.
I agree with Bard. It's better to pepper the roster with above average players than to have 1-2 great ones and fill out the rest with old/bad players.

There are still so many quality free agents out there. I'm excited to see how this roster comes together.
