Linder told me his second toe was completely turned around. He was relieved it wasn't an ankle injury when it happened. #Jaguars

Well ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline, the Jaguars reduced their roster to 75 players on Saturday.
The Jaguars placed left tackle Josh Wells (thumb) and defensive end Dante Fowler (knee) on injured reserve and waived injured receiver Greg Jenkins (ankle).
The Jaguars cut 12 players:
Receiver Tandon Doss, quarterback Jeff Tuel, cornerback Tommie Campbell, safety Desmond Cooper, tight end Connor Hamlett, punter/kicker Kasey Redfern, defensive end Camaron Beard, defensive tackle Eric Crume, offensive linemen Cody Booth and Jack Rummels and linebackers Khairi Fortt and Mister Alexander.
With Wells out, the Jaguars will have a new back-up to Luke Joeckel this year. Sam Young played with the second unit Friday against Detroit and Austin Pasztor also has experience on the left side.
Doss entered camp as the perceived favorite to return punts, but didn’t do much as a receiver and became expendable when the Jaguars committed to rookie Rashad Greene as their punt returner.
Tuel played in Buffalo for current assistant coaches Doug Marrone and Nathaniel Hackett. His release leaves Stephen Morris as the No. 3 quarterback and a probable practice squad candidate if the Jaguars keep only two quarterbacks.
Cooper grew up in Jacksonville and attended Bolles.
The next cut-down date is Saturday when the initial 53-man roster must be set.
