Sure if we're down Jennings and Driver, but I mean in the sense that it's not gonna be our early picks, drafting someone a lot higher than they're valued because we need that position.

We're gonna be able to draft line/defense exactly where they should be from a solid pool.

Best Player Available drafting styles by Ted Thompson say if they are on the board take em, regardless if you do not really have a need at that spot. The only spot I can say we will not take would be QB in the first few rounds, other then that I can see anything going.

Could see a possiblity of them taking a WR first round, however, it's HIGHLY unlikely with the amount of talent and depth with DLine this year.

Wow, looking at our second round draft picks in the years past, they really hit them spot on almost every year.

2012 - Worthy and Hayward
2011 - Cobb
2010 - Neal (Ehhhh)
2009 - Matthews (1st rounder 2nd pick) (No second round pick)
2008 - Jordy Nelson
2007 - James Jones (3rd Roudner)
2006 - Greg Jennings
2005 - Nick Collins

If you ask me they hit that 2nd round/3rd round pretty nicely. Looking forward to those picks and the first one and then the rest of them, rofl.

Neal has so much potential if he could just stay healthy. Just always has some sort of nagging injury that limits him.

Yeah, been pretty ridiculous the last three years. I understand injuries happen, but to be that banged up that often is just nuts. It's gonna have to level out soon, just gotta hope they take advantage when it does.

the amount of hammy and muscle injuries in recent years almost makes you question the strength and conditioning coaches... almost...
