well boys, here we are. the official dress rehearsal for the regular season. preseason game #3 vs the Lions on CBS at 5PM pacific. nationally televised game suckas.

we'll finally get our first look at Yeldon.

Gus said the 1s will play into the 3rd quarter, at least.

Gerhart is the only surprising no go this game, but there's no point playing him if he's a little nicked up. it should give us a decent look at what we have in Pierce.

its time we end some drives in TDs and not fucking fgs.

Enjoy that 2.9 YPC.

Has Pierce been noteworthy at all in camp? It seemed like chronic injuries robbed him of the quickness he had as a rookie.

he'd be our 4th RB at best imo. Yeldon, D-Rob and Gerhart are definitely above him.

hard to judge a RB in camp and he has been 2nd string+ in the 1st two preseason games. hes been solid in those games, but for having legit NFL experience, he should be at least solid.

if we only keep 4 RBs, I'd probably prefer Pierce to be cut instead of Corey Grant. Grant has already shown very good kick return ability and he has upside as a developmental RB. His speed is no joke and he has consistently brought it out passed the 30 yard line on kick offs.

You know you suck when you're behind Toby Gerhart on an NFL roster.

I am of the mind that you really only need 3 RBs on a 53 man roster, unless that 4th one is a special teams ace of some sort.
