I hope you have good enough coaches to develop him. Him just being a dominant athlete isn't going to let him get by like it did in Highschool and College. He'll have to be developed correctly at the next level.
The Texans may have one of the best defensive line coaches in the league in Bill Kollar. He was one of the few coaches from Gary Kubiak's staff that Bill O'Brien didn't fire. J.J. Watt has flourished under him. Also with Romeo Crennel hired as defensive coordinator we'll probably have a good scheme in place.
He has experience coaching both a 4-3 defense and 3-4 defense. He mentioned a few weeks ago that he's going to take advantage of the strengths of his players and adjust to the players he has so we'll see. We really don't have the proper personnel to run a successful 3-4 defense at the moment.
You have to admit that the Houston Texans is probably the best fit for Javedeon Clowney because J.J. Watt will light a fire under him if nothing else.
