The real problem here, I think, is that you're emotionally damaged by being an Eagles fan, growing up having everyone tell you your opinion is worthless because you root for an inferior franchise. This is not true. Break yourself of this notion and you'll find within yourself the courage to criticize more decorated franchises and the audacity to value others' opinions based on the strength of their arguments and not their fandom.

Solid analogy actually. My point is, though, that just about 90 percent of arguments on this sub forum are ignited by exactly what terps is arguing against. It's standard jsp procedure and has been that way for years.

My understanding was that the unspoken rule is basically everyone but eagles fans are allowed to be hypocritical in that respect and not be called on it
If the panthers were doing better this season I'd feel comfortable jumping in on more of these circle-jerk dogpiles on the eagles franchise

Yea, and the reason why eagles fans are so compelled to make continuous homer threads is because of the cumulative bashing we receive from the entire forum week in and week out.
