LOL, I like when he tells the guys to stay on the side line. He'll go out there 1 versus 11 and he likes his odds.

Any good fullbacks in the upcoming draft? Somebody to take in the late 1st round?

fullbacks in the first round?

james casey is a beast
good blocker, can catch out of backfield, can line up at tight end or wide out, etc.

I like Casey but he's been injured a good portion of the season. Lawrence Vickers can't catch a cold out of the backfield. I thought Vickers made a couple good plays against the Browns (his old team) but I wish he'd play that hard every game. Dropped a would-be Touchdown in the Ravens game that came back to hurt late in the game.

Tomorrow will be my first chance to see Tampa Bay play in almost two years. I don't know a whole lot about them and Josh Freeman has pretty mediocre numbers this season just glancing at his TD-INT ratio (8-10) but I know he was real good last year (25-6). The lack of a playmaker for Tampa Bay's offense should play right into the Texans defense hands. I'm more worried about this game only because it's on the road against a team that Houston is favored to beat according to the oddsmakers.

I'm ready for the game to kickoff at noontime. Can't wait to see what all the fuss is about regarding Tampa Bay...

Raiders too, or did you mix that up? And Lawrence Vickers ain't worth shit imo. Only played hard cuz Browns didn't offer another contract.

Probably mixed it up but he's dropped enough passes to account for a lot of games.

Football in Houston = Texans trying to get to 7-3 and Cougars 10-0 -- should move into the BCS top 10 with the Boise State and hopefully Stanford loss (losing in 4th);

The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised by a Panthers win over the Titans on Sunday. A 2-6 team beating a 4-4 team.

If the Panthers beat the Titans and we get a win tomorrow, no reason why we shouldn't go to the playoffs at the very least.

2009 NFL Draft
1. Brian Cushing - Beast, top ILB in the league
2. Connor Barwin - Beast, playing great at OLB
3. Antoine Caldwell - Kinda disappointed, but solid backup
4. Glover Quin - Good/Great, hasn't had an interception yet, but great in run support and doesn't get beat deep
4. Anthony Hill - Cut, "supposed" to be the best Blocking TE of this draft
5. James Casey - Beast, unfortunatly had an injury, really haven't been able to be on the field lately, but still a great blocker, can catch out of backfield and can line up at TE or Wide out.\
6. Brice McCain - Beast, solid nickel corner. Just what we needed, a good nickel corner who can cover
7. Troy Nolan - Solid backup safety, has the nose for the ball

Undrafted
Arian Foster

Great draft.

I'm excited for this day to play out. Ready for kickoff and it's still 8.5 hours away as I type this. Couldn't get much sleep at all. This is franchise history at stake. Winning four games in a row and a 7-3 record would mean a lot. I've been waiting for a game like today since 2002. It's taken way too long for the Texans to reach this point but it was worth the wait.
