This is my first time reading this thread.
So from what Greetings is saying, I do actually believe that his uncle is the guy who runs the company.
However, I have yet to see anything about his uncle being the owner of this company. I haven't looked but as of right now it looks like its owned by investment companies and that his uncle was somebody who was just promoted to CEO.
And even if his uncle owns a significant portion, it is still majority held by these investment firms.
This means the CEO does not pass down the position to family, but someone else is chosen to run the company. Its not a family business anymore.

tl;dr
Greetings "uncle" just runs the company, not the primary owner.
Equivalent of Roger Goodell's nephew saying that he will take over running the NFL because Goodell got him a job as an intern for a few summers.

First off, Greetings has stated in this thread that he is an on-the-books employee.

Also, internships can mean more than they initially seem. While it sorta sounds similar to sweeping the sidewalk in front of a barber shop and then running the place in 10 years, it's not implausible. I mean, a kid could watch and learn how to cut hair from the people there. Not to mention, I don't think Greetings mentioned what he's going to school for. If it's something like Business Administration or something, there's no reason why he couldn't be an owner/manager of one of the stores in the chain.

Basically, I don't think you guys understand - he might not be inheriting an entire company. He might be given preference to another hire when it comes time for one of their places to have a new owner. I find that highly possible.

So basically what I'm getting from this whole thread is that Greetings dad owns Chuck E. Cheese's and when Greetings takes over in 2 years and all of you want to have your parties there he's going to tell you to fuck yourselves as he slides down the tubes into a pit full of money.
