LOL, who's that guy behind him at 1:04? And Al Michaels was sick right? He sounded like that creepy voice from the Saw movies.

I wish we played a 4-3 defense and had some good defensive tackles. If Romeo Crennel plays a 3-4 defense like he did in New England we better draft a good nose tackle. He did say a few days ago we would run a variation of everything: 4-3 and 3-4 didn't matter to him as much as the ability to put his players in position to succeed, but I think he's just keeping his options open in case we end up drafting Jadeveon Clowney.

I forgot to mention this yesterday but I wasn't too thrilled with the hiring of Paul Dunn as the new offensive line coach. The guy I really wanted was Mike Munchak but he accepted the Steelers' offensive line coaching job about a week ago instead. I guess Paul Dunn was the best candidate, experience wise, that we could have hired under the circumstances so we'll see. Maybe he'll do a good job considering we have three pro bowlers up front but we need a major upgrade at Right Tackle.

The Texans have added a coach with nearly three decades of experience working with offensive linemen to their staff. According to Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com, the Texans have hired former Falcons offensive line coach Paul Dunn to the same position on Bill O’Brien’s coaching staff.

The 53-year-old Dunn was the Falcons’ offensive line coach the last two seasons (2012-2013) after a four-year stint as Atlanta’s assistant offensive line coach. Before joining the Falcons, Dunn had stints as a collegiate offensive line coach at Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, Maine, Rutgers and Edinboro (Pa.).

I think the Seahawks have proven what a great defense can accomplish. We really need to think about drafting Jadeveon Clowney with the first overall pick more than ever. Our defensive talent overall, mainly our front seven, is pretty thin outside of J.J. Watt. Hopefully Brian Cushing returns to his All Pro form coming off two straight season-ending injuries.

We'll need another stud up front on that defensive line regardless of what formations we're running (3-4, 4-3, nickel, dime, etc... etc...). We need to generate a more consistent and strong pass rush like we used to do in 2011 when our defense was dominating and special, and that was before and after Mario Williams had a season-ending injury.

Remind me again how Russell Wilson was a third-round pick? That alone shows you can find a franchise quarterback outside of the first round. Why can't we draft a quarterback at pick 33 when we pick first in the second round? We may land somebody special like Jimmy Garoppolo out of Eastern Illinois. His stock is rising super fast but hopefully he makes it out of the first round. We're not going to find a defensive player like Jadeveon Clowney in any round in this upcoming draft.

I don't want to go "all in" on Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel or Blake Bortles so soon. We have too many defensive needs right now. Our offense features six pro bowlers and most importantly we just need a healthy Arian Foster and Owen Daniels to perform at an exceptional level that we expect to see. A lot of quarterbacks can do well with the talent we have on offense if they're healthy. I thought even DeAndre Hopkins made strides during his rookie season. Bill O'Brien can groom a young quarterback for the future that we draft in the second round. I expect we'll sign a free agent quarterback to start Week 1 in 2014 because no way Matt Schaub will be back but he has to be released first.

We're not going anywhere as a team without a great defense. We once won a playoff game with the crappy T.J. Yates at quarterback. Our defense played exceptionally well during that wild-card win over the Bengals, and they went into Baltimore the following week and dominated the Ravens talented offense in the divisional round during that same playoff run. We were stacked defensively and nearly rode those guys to the AFC Championship game.

Let's get back to having a defense that can actually kick ass and make some noise. We were on the right track in 2011 and we allowed Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans, two All Pros, to get away. Now we need to replace those losses with some equally great defensive players. I feel like Jadeveon Clowney will be every bit as good and maybe better than Mario Williams in the pros. That's saying a lot because Mario Williams is pretty dominating.

I don't believe we hired one of the best defensive coordinators of all time in Romeo Crennel, three Super Bowl wins in four years as the Patriots' defensive coordinator, just to hand over a mediocre defense that features very little talent outside of two players (Watt and Cushing). I'm sure the goal is to give him much more to work with in this upcoming draft.

But oh well, I digress. We have three months to figure this out. You can even sell me on Anthony Barr as well. Another elite defensive player.

I agree with what they say for the most part, especially with Jeff Garcia at 4:22. Jadeveon Clowney is the safer choice and the right choice. We can cause some havoc defensively with Watt and Clowney off the edge and with Cushing back in the middle.

A lot of double blockers slowed him down. Big drop off for J.J. Watt this season facing the same constant attention from offenses (20.5 to 10.5 sacks). You won't be able to use four blockers on both players. Drafting Jadeveon Clowney will make Watt more effective and our defense will be good for the next seven or eight years. We'll be able to cause some havoc on precious Andrew Luck twice a year.
