Should have been 14/15 if it wasn't for the 3 drops. The one Clay Harbor dropped would have been a TD also.

His one incomplete throw was just a tad high, but still wasn't that far off target.

He needs to carry that solid play into the Giants game this Saturday. The Giants secondary is hurting with injuries, so we should be able to take advantage of them right away.

Yeah clay harbor dropped that wide open pass with a straight shot to the endzone. I think we are gonna have a great season if everyone will just do their jobs! Thinking we can go 5-2 at home this year ( not including london) if that happens we should be able to win a few on the road. Hoping for a 10-6 season would be amazing lol

You're getting a little ahead of yourself imo lol. That would be great and all, don't get me wrong, but the team is still very young and they need to show they can close out games still.

I think 6-9 wins is around what I see happening and 9 wins being the absolute best case scenario. If we don't win at least 6 games, I think Gus will most likely get the boot. I think 7 wins is very logical and would be a signs of very good things to come. We have a ridiculous stretch during the middle of the season, so they can't start off the season slow.

They can then make that push into the playoffs and beyond next season, in year 4 of the rebuild.

I think if they dont go at least 8-8 gus gets the boot.lots of people ive talked to around want a 500 team or a new coach. I personally like gus and think he is what this team needs and is the future of our team! But they could always shine bright even with being a young team. Not sure if 2 years ago if kc was a young team but they went like 2-14 then came back and went 14-2 or something like that. Why not us?! Lol yeah i know manily wishful thinking

A new coach would be the worst possible thing for this team. Gus was dealt the hardest coaching job, BY FAR. Caldwell and him were handed an expansion level team with zero talent.

There's a reason why only Poz (who was brought here as a FA), Alualu (who is now a back up), Branch (another back up who may not be on the roster after this year) and Bryan Anger (a Punter....) are the only players left on this team from the previous staff. This roster has been completely overturned over these past two years and is being built the right way.

A new coach would basically mean we'd have to start all over. Caldwell would stay, but a new coach wouldn't benefit this team at all. Any new HC is going to want to do it their way, with their players. Without granting a HC those options, it's going to severely limit the chances and options of getting a good HC.

Anything less than 6 games and Gus is gone. 6 games or more, while being competitive in every game and he's a lock to stay imo. If they win 6 games and get flat out blown out in the other 10, Gus would get fired then as well.

Of course we all want to win right now, but you have to use a level/logical head and actually look at where this team is at and what they're doing. They're building for long term success. Having a little patience now and building a team the right way is what brings long term success in this league. Changing your HC every 1-3 years isn't going to get you anywhere, ever.

Very true and very well put. What do you think would happen if lets say they went 2-14 but only lost all 14 games by 7 or fewer clearly staying quite competive. Do you think theyd still let gus go under that scenario? I know very unlikely but its always fun to speculate. Also, what do you think of yeldon? I think he is going to be a stud. Cant wait to see him play a game rather than just watching him in practice

A two win season and he's gone. I don't think it would matter if they lost those other 14 by 1 point each. This team has won 7 games over the last 2 seasons. 6 wins is not asking for the world, by any means.

Yeldon has the vision to be good in this league imo. Hes got the size and his lateral movement is very good. He doesn't have great long speed, but that's a little overrated for a RB. It definitely doesn't hurt, but there's other things that are more important for a RB imo.

I think he'll be good. I obviously really hope he's great. The OL has to help him out, but they should be much improved from the disaster that they were last year. Like everything only time will tell lol.

It's nice knowing there's legit talent on this roster now. A lot of it is young and unproven talent, but it's definitely there.

Very true there is talent on this team for once in some while. Speaking of the OL im rather disappointed in joeckels performace thus far. He gave up a huge sack/fumble last friday

That was really his only bad play though. He had a few good run blocks, but yes Harrison beat him badly on that one play.

It's a make it or break it year for him, without a doubt.

He also totally whiffed on a down field block on a screen play, as well. He hasnt been the same since his injury. He showed a lot of potential. There is still time for him to turn it around, im just not feeling it

That entire draft that year was pretty bad so far. And not just looking at it from the Jags' draft, I mean the entire league. That year was just a really weak draft from top to bottom. Caldwell may have snagged a couple gems late in Denard Robinson and Demetrius McCray, but Joeckel, Cyp and Gratz all need to step it up this year. Especially Joeckel and Cyp.

Ace Sanders has already been cut from that class.

Josh Evans has played a lot of football for us as a 6th round pick from that draft, but he's nothing more then average at best. Our 5th, 6th and 7th round picks have been the best from that class so far. Jeremy Harris was the other 7th round pick with McCray, but he has barely touched the playing field.
