Bill O'Brien says it will be an organizational decision. If that's the case we all know Bob McNair loves Jadeveon Clowney.

John McClain from the Houston Chronicle thinks Blake Bortles will be our top choice. I'm confused now.
Isn't Teddy Bridgewater "head and shoulders" above any other QB in this draft class? Why is it so close?

John McClain is an idiot, that's why. I don't get the love for Blake Bortles other than that he's a 6'5" QB and can run some. Only film I watched on him was the Fiesta Bowl Game against Baylor and he looked mediocre IMO. He missed a lot of simple 10-15 yards passes and I know most of his TDs from early on were WR screens and bubble screens. Didn't bother watching the 4th quarter. At best, IMO, his ceiling is Joe Flacco.

I get the love for Manziel tho. He's exciting, make big plays, and can extend plays. He played against the best defenses and made them look like fools.

But with Bridgewater's ability to read defenses, to change plays at the LOS, and to throw against blitzes is amazing. No one else in college football does what he does. Not to mention his footwork is amazing, which is probably one of the most important thing to have as an NFL QB. Although he rarely runs, he does know how to escape the pocket and extend plays, he just usually find someone open, hardly does he run for it. Reminds me a lot of Aaron Rodgers, not comparing the players but comparing how they avoid blitzes and pressures. If we improve our OL, I could honestly see him having a great rookie season and even making the playoffs, depending on how well our defense plays. He's going to have a lot of great pieces on offense. Andre Johnson, DeAndre Hopkins, who had 800 yards even with the shitfest we had at QB, Owen Daniels(although I'm hearing he might be cut), Garrett Graham, Ryan Griffin, and hopefully a healthy Arian Foster as well.

The play that won me over with Teddy. The 4th and 12 first down run. He was not to be denied.
Up until that game I wasn't sold on him. But he had a big game against Cincy and Miami in the bowl game.

In today's NFL you need a quarterback who's elusive and can make plays even when there's nothing there.
With Matt Schaub for the past seven seasons if something broke down that would be the end of our play.

Such a great play. Reminds me of VY against Kansas in 2004. Texas was down 20-23 with less than 2 minutes to go, and a BCS Rose Bowl game on the line. It was 4th and 18 and VY still managed to run for a first down. VY went on to throw the game winning TD. Most clutch College Football player of all time.

I don't want Blake Bortles or Teddy Bridgewater. They seem like safe, mediocre picks. I'm not sold on them.

I want either Johnny Manziel or Clowney. And I'm leaning towards Manziel. But if we take Clowney, I'd be okay with that. He's probably the best physical talent in the draft.
