Needed a new kitchen table and decided to build my own.



Not bad for my first woodworking project.

not bad at all, how long did it take?

Just a couple of days. I spent a couple hours cutting the wood up, sanding it, and putting it together. The next day I added wood fill, primer, and wood conditioner (on the tabletop). Once all of it was tried and ready to go I sanded down the spots that I used the fill on and stained and painted throughout the day. The next day (today) I've just been adding layers of polyurethane. I'll probably put it upstairs tomorrow. I still need to build benches for it though.

Originally, I was just going to buy a new kitchen table but after seeing the prices, I decided to make my own. It was actually pretty fun. I am going to make a coffee table in a week or so.
